Can I lose 10 lbs fast?

Now we need to get one thing straight right off the bat. It is very easy to lose 10 pounds in 10 days if you want to, but it is not the right way to lose weight. There is a good way to lose weight and there is a bad way to do it. Here is why you should only be trying to lose a couple pounds a week.

The first reason that a way to lose 10 pounds in 10 days is not good for you is that you will be losing mainly water weight. This means you will be less hydrated and your body needs to be hydrated. Plus it will be much easier to gain this weight back and you will gain it back pretty fast if you are not careful.

This is the reason that most fad diets seem to work so well at the first part of the diet. You lose 10 pounds in a hurry, then you cannot lose any more weight. Most likely you will start to gain the weight back because it is not fat. Which is what you really want to lose.

The second reason you should not lose so much weight in such a hurry is because it is not healthy at all. The most you should lose each week is 2 pounds. This needs to be fat as well. When you lose water weight you are going to have a better chance of fainting and being dehydrated. This is not what you want to do for good womens fitness.

The best way to lose 10 pounds in 10 days is to not try to lose that much. Set your goals a little more realistic and you will be in much better shape. Aim to lose 5 or 6 pounds a month and don't weigh yourself every week. This will get you on the road to losing fat instead of water and you will be much better off in the long run.
